Last night we got to sit on the 5th row at the Jazz game! At half-time we went and had snacks and drinks in the "family" room. After an awesome win (115 to 87) we got to go down and meet the players. We had such a great time. I gave high-fives to all the players as they came out to warm up and caught Boozers towel with my head (thankfully it wasn't all sweaty because he wasn't playing) Amanda Harpring, Thank you! This was a once in a lifetime for us, we wont forget it!

We just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We have been very blessed with our own little family and to come from great families ourselves. I want all our family who is out of state to know that we especially miss you during this time. We hope that all is well with you and that this Christmas will bring joy and peace. Trent got these cute little wooden shoes from Great grandma Lee (who is Dutch). We left them out last night and.....surprise! Trent got a bunch of goodies from Sinter Klaus.

Doesn't Sadie look so thrilled to be in this picture? Trent was riding her like a reindeer, she is so humiliated.

I forgot to rotate this picture before loading it, oh well. This is the closest we've willingly let Trent get to the tree so far, he likes to grab the presents under it. We are getting really excited for Trent's first Christmas!

A while ago my sister-in-law Jenn wrote a list of seven little known facts about herself and challenged us to do the same. Here is my list:

-I consider a Jamba Juice a meal
-I would love to take ballroom dance classes someday
-I almost always will order a club sandwich when we go out to eat
-I want to go to Africa and do humanitarian work one day
-I like trying new recipes (so if you have any yummy favs let me know)
-My favorite song is "Night Swimming" by REM
-Speaking of songs, when I was 12ish I wrote a few songs of my own that I know are going to be big hits someday! If you are lucky, oneday I may share them with you. (Jason is laughing)

This is fun! Now you have to make a list of your own for everyone else to enjoy!

Cindy's wipeout at Echo Lake

Cindy hasn't tried getting up on one ski for a long time and thought it might be fun....she was wrong! She's really good at doing a somersault!

Our trip to Bear Lake

We got back on Monday from spending six days at Bear Lake with Jason's family. We had a blast. Jason did a little wake boarding (I didn't go on the boat once, things sure change after you have a baby!) The wave runners were a lot of fun and the kids got to swim in five pools we had out on the lawn. We also had a good time launching water balloons with our balloon slingshot. Also, one of Jason's nephews was hooked to Guitar Hero.... I will be happy if I never hear "Sweet Child of Mine" ever again! The biting flies weren't bad this year and we didn't have too many casualties to sunburns either. All in all, this was a great trip, we look forward to it every year!

Jason took his mom for a ride on the wave runner and people for miles could hear her screaming! I think she had a good time... atleast she didn't fall off.

Fun at the park

On Friday we went to the park to celebrate Trent's cousin McKenzie's Birthday. I think this was his first real trip to the park. Daddy helped him get acquainted with all the fun things to do. I love this picture because you can tell Trent isn't too sure going down the slide is fun... I'm sure at this time next year we will be dragging him away from the slides. He has been kind of a stinker the last couple of days so I wonder if he is getting a tooth or going through a growing spell. I don't know how he does it, but he is still cute when he is cranky!

It was nice that Jason could get a break from work and do his favorite thing. He didn't get to do a ton of fishing this trip, so I'm sure he'll make up for it in the coming weeks. I love my fisherman!

Trent is already taking after his Daddy. If you can't tell, that's a miniature fly-fishing pole. We went camping this last weekend and had a lot of fun with Jason's family. It was freezing at night, but really nice during the day. The kids had fun playing in the water, catching small fish, painting rocks, bike riding and walking up to Stone Face (a big rock that looks like a face:). Trent wanted to get down and run around with his cousins, I know it wont be too long and he will be. My favortie thing about camping is sitting around the camp fire at night. We spent 3 nights in the tent and I was happy to come home to my bed on Sunday. We did have a good time and plan on doing more camping this summer.

I love to read the holy scriptures!

Today we went to the Riverton Parade. Trent was babbling to all the people walking by. He wasn't scared by the loud sirens and even got a fireman's hat! Trent also got his first taste of popsicle, thanks to Daddy.

Trenton Jay Timothy

Trent was born on February 9, 2008. He was only a week and a half early but weighed in at 5lbs and 7oz, and 19 inches. After 14 hours of labor the doctors decided to do a c-section. When his blood sugar levels were taken, they were found to be critically low. Trent spent 5 days in NICU and then was finally able to come home with us. We feel so blessed to have this sweet, healthy, baby boy in our lives.
